JOB ROLE/BROAD OVERVIEW
Our client is looking for an experienced software developer to be part of a distributed software development team. The successful candidate will have strong architecture and implementation skills of system-level software with the ability to cover a diverse range of technologies and solutions. An ability to turn product visions into reality and create well designed solutions from complex requirements.
You will be responsible for:
All aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, architecture, development, testing, support and maintenance. |
Candidate Requirements

Requirements
Education to Degree Level or equivalent ideally Computer Science or similar subject.
Technical experience in software development.
Proven track record in software development.
Strong technical software skills.
Strong communication skills.
Enthusiastic, dedicated team player with a will to succeed.
Able to work directly with customers and partners.
Technical Skills
Strong architecture and design skills for system-level software.
High level of knowledge and experience of Data Structures.
Experience of multiply software languages including Assembler (this is very desirable).
Systems Programming experience Kernel level coding; device drivers etc.
Experience of agile development methodologies.
Strong problem solving skills.
Demonstrate innovative and creative thinking.
Wide range of platforms, including Windows, Unix, Linux, and z/OS. |
